Transferring “D” grades: Some D grades will transfer to other colleges and universities. For more detailed information one should consult the transfer advisor or program coordinator at the transfer institution. SUNY Plattsburgh will not accept “D” grades in English 101.
“WY” grades do not count against the QPA. “WY” indicates that a student was removed from a course for not attending, and it counts against academic progress for financial aid. But it does not count as an “F” the way “Y” did years ago.
