The College  

Clinton Community College is located on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain in upstate new York.
With a view to the east of Vermont Green Mountains and the Adirondacks to the west, the campus is considered the most beautiful of the State University of New York’s 64 campuses. We are only 6 hours from New York City, 1 hour from downtown Montreal, Canada and 30 minutes from Burlington, Vermont. The nearby mountains and lakes provide many venues for year round recreation. Skiing, hiking, boating and fishing are just a few of the activities available. Clinton has a growing international student population.

Application/Receiving an I-20

  1. The CCC Application for Admission is free and can be completed on-line.  Certification of English proficiency. International applicants must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A score of 550 is required for the paper test or 213 for the computer based test.

  2. Evidence of the applicant’s adequate financial resources to pay for educational and living expenses while studying at the College. This should be in the form of a bank statement signed by an official of your bank. Also, the International Applicants - Financial Statement should be completed. The current annual amount required is $18,315.00 (U.S.).

  3. High School Transcript.  Provide an official copy of your high school transcript (translated to English) that includes the year of graduation.
  4. College Transcripts (if applicable).  Provide an official transcripts from all previous colleges attended (translated to English).
