Applicants with an IEP Diploma

The New York State Education Department has ruled that an IEP diploma is different from a high school diploma in that it is not an indication of successful completion of high school study. Students who hold an IEP diploma may apply to Clinton Community College using the same criteria of students who do not hold a high school diploma or GED. Individuals who demonstrate an ability to benefit by study at CCC will be enrolled in our General Studies Certificate program which leads to the student receiving a GED.
