Clinton Women lose to Jefferson CC

Plattsburgh- Clinton Women lost their home opener 3-1 to Jefferson CC. It was the Clinton's first loss of the season.

Jefferson led 2-0 at the half. Clinton’s Haley Feazelle scored in the second half with an assist from Emily Lashway.

Sami Stoughton was in goal for CCC.She had 7 saves.

Coach Donna Dixon said, “"It was pretty evenly matched We made a couple mistakes, and they capitalized. Their first two goals were just transition.We played good soccer today. Their keeper made a couple of tremendous saves on us. We had some great opportunities. She was very good, and we have to capitalize on those."

Clinton will travel to Herkimer on Sunday.
