CCC men defeated by Fulton Montgomery CC 2-1

Plattsburgh- Clinton Men lost to Fulton Montgomery CC at Clinton on Thursday.

Clinton tied the game in the second half 1-1 with a nice play by Matt Phillips. Phillips headed the ball in the goal with an assist from Aaron Goldfarb. Fulton Montgomery CC pulled ahead and scored at the 43 minute of the second half.

Corey Davidson was in goal for CCC. He stopped 14 shots.

Coach Eric Arnold said, “He had never played goal before. It was his first career start at any level, and he had an outstanding game. He kept us in it for the first 60 minutes. He played phenomenally for any goalie, never mind one who hadn't played before."

Clinton will host Adirondack CC on Wednesday at Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse.
