Clinton Women Win 3-1 over FMCC

JOHNSTOWN Clinton Community College Lady Cougars finished their regular season by beating host Fulton-Montgomery 3-1.

Clinton (9-5-3, 7-5-3) Jordan Clark and Haley Feazelle scored unassisted and Natie Stoddart tallied from Kaelyn Scott.

The team will travel to Herkimer on Saturday for the first round of the NJCAA Region III playoffs. Game time is 2 p.m.

"It was a great confidence-builder going into Saturday," Dixon acknowledged. "You worry about looking ahead, but we definitely came ready to play and generated a ton of offense. We possessed the ball for a lot of the time.

"Fulton is a pretty decent team; it's not like we went in there with the idea of beating up on them. We only beat them 1-0 the first time."
