Clinton Men Lose to Jefferson CC

Plattsburgh- Anthony Hodge attempted a three point basket at the buzzer but it fell short and it wasn’t enough to send the game into overtime. Jefferson won 71-68.

“The first half it was close," Clinton head coach Kevin Daugherty said, "But the first 10 minutes of the second half we just dug ourselves a hole." Clinton was down by 14 points.

Clinton was led by Hodge with 19 points, Julius Wells with 17 points and Steve Thomas chipped in 15 points.

Coach Daugherty said, “Wells played outstanding tonight and Hodge had a steady game. We didn't pass the ball well and did not catch the ball well much of the night."

Clinton will host Schenectady CC on Saturday at 2pm.
