CCC Men Lose by 2 points to SCC
Monday, November 17, 2008
Plattsburgh- Clinton Community College Men’s Basketball team lost to Schenectady Community College 63-61. Clinton is now 2-3 on the season. Coach Kevin Daugherty said, “The three losses have been to very good teams by 3, 3 and 2 points. In the past two seasons, we’ve started out 1-3, but the losses have been blowouts. This group is working hard and the talent is there. Right now, the inexperience is showing, but we just have to keep teaching the kids.” Matt Williams had 20 points, Ariel Whittaker chipped in 10, Anthony Hodge and Justin Vice each added 10 points. “We had some great runs with different individuals lighting it up. Ariel Whitaker, Matt Williams and Justin Vice.” said Coach Daugherty. “We were happy to see Ariel Whittaker come out of his scoring slump. He’s been struggling, but he’s played very hard for us.” said Daugherty. Clinton will host Adirondack CC on Monday at 7pm.
