OCC defeats CCC 5-1

Syracuse-Onondaga CC defeated CCC Men 5-1.

Clinton held a 1-0 lead for 60 minutes. OCC struck back by scoring 5 goals in 22 minutes to win the game.

Ricky Lee scored Clinton's lone goal with an assist from Kyle Kirk.

"It was a new experience for us being ahead of a strong team at the half," said Clinton C.C. head coach Mark Misiak.

"But, unfortunately, when they scored their first goal, we also had a player get a red card. It was an uphill struggle after that and we lost our legs. But, I was still proud of the team's effort over the weekend."

Adam Manor recorded eight stops for the Cougars. Clinton had 12 shots on goal and OCC 18 shots.

Clinton finishes their season on Saturday at home against North Country Community College.
