CCC Women win over Word of Life

Plattsburgh-Clinton got their first win of the season against Word of Life.


"A win is a win — it was ugly," Clinton coach Donna Dixon said. "At times, I think we could have played a lot better with a lot more intensity than what we did. But, we got the job done and that's what we need to do right now — take one game at a time and go from there."

Johni Rae Coryea scored 12 points,five rebounds, seven assists and ten steals for the double-double.

Shannon Nutbrown and Carissa Fournia each added 10 points. Nutbrown added 14 rebounds for the team's second double-double with five assists, two steals and two blocked shots.


Clinton Community College will host Adirondack CC on Friday at 6pm.
