CCC Men win over Jefferson CC 88-83

Clinton Men won 88-83 over Jefferson Community College in their first game of the Spring semester.

Clinton lost earlier in the year to Jefferson 76-64. On Tuesday, Clinton came out fighting. Coach Kevin Daugherty said, "The story of the game was that we got off to a great
start offensively." Coach also said,"We hit a cold streak in the middle of the second half and they cut the lead to three points with about a minute to go. We got a couple of stops and Kyle Stark hit two free throws in the last ten seconds to give us the cushion."

Philip Barnes led CCC with 25 points. Newcomers Ryan Earle and Kyle Stark also had 19 and 14 points respectively. Mario Lopez chipped in 15 points.

Clinton (8-7) will host Finger Lakes CC on Sunday at 3PM.
