CCC Student Accepted in NYS Senate Undergraduate Session Assistant Program

Plattsburgh, - Clinton Community College student, Sabrina Breyette of Plattsburgh, has been accepted as an Assistant in the New York State Senate Undergraduate Session Assistantship Program 2005. Breyette will begin her semester as a student assistant in Albany this January.

“I am very proud to be selected for this prestigious program,” said Breyette. “I am looking forward to working with the Senators of New York State in Albany this January. I want to thank Dr. Forrest Studebaker for his continuous support as my advisor and favorite history professor. I want to thank my new advisor, Professor Thomas Mandeville, for having faith in my prior work history as a union official, and giving me a high recommendation for this position. I am excited and proud to be part of this great program. I will be graduating from Clinton Community College this spring, and plan to transfer to a university, possibly Albany State, to further my political science studies with a focus on labor law for fall 2005.”

Tom Mandeville, Associate Professor in Social Science and the Campus Liaison Officer for the NYS Senate Undergraduate Session Assistants Program explained,  "Sabrina Breyette is a mature, highly motivated bright student who will represent CCC as well as any of our past participants in the NY State Senate Assistantship Program.
