Employees Recognized at Clinton Community College

April 27, 2006For Immediate Release:
Plattsburgh, New York…. Nina D. Coolidge, chair of the Clinton Community College Board of Trustees and President Maurice B. Hickey recognized College employees at a ceremony held at 2:00 p.m. on April 27, 2006 in the Stafford Center auditorium.
The program began with Mark Davison, president of the CCC Alumni Association, announcing the 2006 Full Circle Award inductees: Jacqueline Barshow, Paula Brooks, Whanda Carbino, Holly Lincourt, and Darcy Purick. The Full Circle Award recognizes CCC graduates who return to the College as dedicated employees. President Hickey then shared CCC departmental and division achievements and other special recognitions. John Mockry, Associate Professor and Jennifer Waite, Social Science Division Coordinator, took a moment to recognize retired Professors Carl Lutters and Dr. Lorna Forster, for their numerous contributions to the College.
President Hickey and Nina Coolidge then took center stage to present service pins to CCC employees while Thomas Mandeville, President of Faculty Student Association and Stephen St.Onge, Vice President of Student Services presented FSA pins. The following employees were recognized for their service:

The Clinton County Legislature’s Recognition of Extraordinary Service Award was presented to Donna Dukette by Jackie Walker, Clinton County Legislative Liaison to the College. Dukette recently marked thirty years of employment with the College.
The final award is called the Above and Beyond Award. Although CCC employees may often go “Above and Beyond,” in any given year, there are people who stand out in the minds of their colleagues as being “exceptional”. These individuals not only achieve the objectives of their job description, but also excel in some manner. Above and Beyond Award recipients for 2006 are: Elizabeth Bailey, Associate Professor, Nursing and Allied Health, David Lawliss, Dean for Workforce Development, Continuing Education, & Community Service, Jonathan Chew, Media Technician.
