Canning Workshops
Each workshop will introduce basic water bath processing techniques for the novice canner, but then focus on preserving a specific type of food product each week. Students may enroll for just one class, or all four! Students will need to pay the instructor a $5 fee for supplies at each workshop in addition to the registration fee.

Planning and Preparing Thanksgiving Dinner
This is a great class for the "first time host" - never cooked a turkey, no problem! I will help you take the fear and stress out of planning and cooking so you can enjoy your Thanksgiving along with your guests. Students will need to pay the instructor $10 for supplies at the workshop in addition to the registration fee.
The Cakeri
This two day workshop will start by helping you learn the basics of leveling cakes, butter cream frostings, fillings, roses, and piping. On the second day you will go where bakeries won’t venture. Hand decorated drawings on cakes are easy, even for people who can’t draw straight lines. Trust me! We’ll create basket weave and students will bring home their finished creations. Students will need to pay the instructor $10 for supplies at the workshop in addition to the registration fee. Students will also need to purchase the “Wilton Course I Beginner Kit”, which can be found at Michael’s Arts and Crafts store. The kit includes: 7 assorted decorating tips, 3 decorating bags, 2 standard couplers, flower nail number 7, small straight Comfort Grip spatula, decorating brush, tip brush, and practice board with cake stand. (If you own the above items, you do not need to purchase the kit. Please bring them with you to class)
