ACCESSING THE STUDENT PORTAL Clinton Community College's Student Information Portal gives you access to important CCC-related information that you normally would have to get in person. Currently this information is a copy of your schedule, how to contact your advisor and an unofficial copy of your transcript. You must be a currently registered student in order to access your Transcript. Log onto a computer here at campus (this has to be done atleast once to activate your account). We have created a USERNAME and PASSWORD scheme that uses information you already know: the first four letters of your last name and the last four digits of your Social Security number is your USERNAME. Your PASSWORD for the first time only is your Social Security Number without the hyphens. You will be prompted to change it after logging on the first time. Remember to use lower case for your USERNAME and PASSWORD. Access the Clinton Community College home web page http://www.clinton.edu Click on the option that says <STUDENT PORTAL> located at the bottom of all of our web pages. Please note that you will need to sign in again just like you did to log into the computer if you are accessing it from campus. The computer will then ask you for your PIN. The PIN is the 3rd through 6th digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). For example, if your SSN were 123-45-6789 then the PIN would be 3456. We strongly encourage you to change your PIN once you have entered the Student Portal Area. The system will display your schedule, your advisor information, and an unofficial copy of your transcript. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS ACCESSING THE STUDENT PORTALPlease review the area below and see if any of these may pertain to you or your computer system. 1. I use AOL as my Internet Service Provider. Connect to your Internet Provider, but minimize it and use Internet Explorer or Netscape to access the STUDENT PORTAL. AOL prevents access to the STUDENT PORTAL. 3. Do you use an "accelerator" or "pop up preventer"? These may stop access to the above areas. Temporarily disable this feature and try accessing the area again. 4. Have you signed on to a computer at campus prior to trying to access the above feature from home. Currently this is a requirement unless you are a Distance Learning student exclusively. Distance Learning Students have an active account.Only currently enrolled students have access to this area.
