Social Workers are hired for positions in a wide variety of settings to respond to a broad range of presenting problems: addictions, aging, crisis prevention and inter vention, developmental disabilities, family violence, mental illness, etc. Attainment of a bachelor of science with a major of social work from SUNY Plattsburgh is recognized as BSW degree.
