February 11, 2008

Noon-1pm

Officers Present: Adam Scharf, Jeff Defayette, Kris Dewine, Jason Walker

Staff Representatives: Tobi Hay, Lauren Touhey, Mark Davidson, Angie Alphonso, Martie Lockwood

Student Representatives: Nicole Locklin, Nicole Dirolf, Arthur Covert, Kenneth Karnley, Saquaia Weaver, Rasheeda Weaver, Adama Konate, Kerbi Desir

Old/Unfinished:

· Advertising

o Art Covert, Adam Scharf, Saquaia Weaver, Rasheeda met to plan advertising, and Art Covert is taking over the committee.

o Web

§ College is upgrading catalog so the committee is asked to give the club leaders a week’s time to get their information on their clubs

o Bi Laws committee

§ Currently scanning through the bi-laws to recommend for change or to add on to what is already written.

New Business:

· Human Services Club

o Request 1,000 dollars from the senate so they may attend a Human Services Conference in April

o The request has been table until the next meeting

· Senate Meetings

o The senate will meet every other week

o THE SENATE WILL HAVE A EMERGENCY MEETING ON FEBUARY 18, 2008 TO VOTE ON HUMAN SERVICES CLUB REQUEST.

Announcements:

The Audit Fee is 400 dollars more than anticipated, per Martie Lockwood, this will be voted on next week.
