Job Description:

Assistant in Continuing Education coordinates the development and implementation of non-credit programs for community service, workforce development and continuing education; assesses community interests and needs; creates marketing materials; and is responsible for a schedule of facility use on-campus and at extension centers. Some evening and weekend work required. Educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of administrative and/or instructional experience, preferably at a community college level. Salary range commensurate with experience; complemented by an excellent benefits package. Anticipated start date: January 4, 2010. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications as stated are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of the position and by providing appropriate references. Exceptions to the degree requirements may be made for compelling reasons. Review of applications will begin on November 30, 2009 and continue until position is filled.
